We are incredibly grateful to Shane McLoughlin, Monaghan Person of the Year Awards and the Farney Foundation for their generosity and support of our school community.
Shane — an amputee, six-time world-record holder and former Paralympian — very kindly donated his €1,000 prize money from the Monaghan Person of the Year Award to our school. We were honoured to welcome Shane, along with the organiser of the awards and the director of the Farney Foundation, Brian Ruddin, to present the cheque to the school. Shane spoke warmly about how pleased he was to support his daughter’s school, and we are sincerely thankful for his kindness and generosity. This donation will now be used to further enhance and promote the learning and wellbeing of all our pupils.
