Science Week Experiments

15th Nov 2020

During Science Week the Junior Classes participated in a number of exciting experiments. Our first experiment 'Rainbow Walking Water' taught us all about capillary action in which liquids travel upwards against gravity through narrow spaces. We watched as coloured water travelled upwards through narrow holes in the paper towels and was deposited in an adjoining glass to meet and mix with another colour. Over a period of two hours the colours mixed to create a rainbow!
