Peace Proms 2026 - A Spectacular Musical Experience

2nd Mar 2026

Ireland’s acclaimed Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI) once again brought audiences on an unforgettable musical journey with Peace Proms 2026, and St. Comgall’s N.S. were thrilled to be part of the excitement!

On Sunday 1st March, our pupils travelled to the SSE Arena in Belfast to perform in this incredible event. Every pupil played their part in the show, joining thousands of young performers to sing a fantastic selection of well-known songs from the movies, including favourites from Frozen, Wicked and Snow White. Performing on such a huge stage in front of a packed arena was an amazing experience for everyone involved.

The show featured a spectacular line-up of guest performers who had the audience captivated from start to finish. Highlights included award-winning vocalist Lauren Murphy, powerful performances from Pipes and Drums from across the island and stunning dance displays by talented Irish and Highland dancers. Among the performers were the Michelle Johnston School of Highland Dance (Belfast), the Dance Hall Academy (Swords) and the Magill School of Irish Dance (Waterford), who brought incredible energy and colour to the stage.

The atmosphere in the arena was electric, with music, dancing and singing creating a truly memorable celebration of talent, teamwork and joy.

Our pupils were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with, and we are extremely proud of the enthusiasm, dedication and confidence they showed throughout this wonderful event. A huge thank you to all the parents who travelled to Belfast and joined the audience to support the pupils in this musical experience. Well done to everyone who took part in such a fantastic show!
