I am absolutely delighted to share the wonderful news that Shane McLoughlin has been crowned Monaghan Person of the Year 2025 — a truly fantastic and well-deserved achievement. We are incredibly proud of Shane and this outstanding recognition.
As a school community, we are especially grateful that Shane has so generously chosen to donate his €1,000 prize to the school. His kindness and continued support mean a great deal to us all.
In the coming weeks, and in consultation with Shane, parents, and pupils, we will carefully consider how best to use this generous contribution to ensure it brings the greatest possible benefit to our students.
