Maths Week is important for schools because it boosts pupil engagement, develops a positive attitude towards the subject and makes maths fun and relevant through interactive activities. This week the pupils have been taking part in a number of fun and engaging activities using hands on tools. It is hoped that through these activities the pupils will improve their problem-solving skills. It encourages creative thinking by moving beyond traditional classroom methods. All of these hands on activities will their build confidence and provide a stronger foundation for future learning.
