Lá Glas was celebrated through a variety of activities on Thursday 14th March 2024. Firstly the pupils participated in a music and Irish dancing session whereby they flawlessly danced to 'The Walls of Limerick'. Following this they quenched their thirst with tri-colour jelly and ice cream which they had prepared the previous day. In the afternoon they participated in a number of Irish games such as 'biongó' and ' a deir Síomón'. Furthermore, the Junior classroom through art activities designed and illustrated St. Patrick's Day cards and beautiful rainbows. The Senior classroom, this month, have been learning and writing a variety of poems. For St. Patrick's Day, they composed a 'Limerick' which we hope you enjoy reading. Overall a fabulous day was enjoyed by all.
