We are absolutely delighted that our school has been awarded its sixth Green Schools Flag, recognising our commitment and achievements in the theme of Global Citizenship – Litter & Waste. This fantastic milestone reflects the dedication, enthusiasm and hard work of our entire school community in promoting environmental awareness and creating positive change.
Representing our school at the National Green Flag Awards Ceremony in the Fairways Hotel, Dundalk, Green Schools Committee members Dearbhail and Amy, accompanied by Mrs Elaine Hagan and Mrs Mary Kirke, proudly accepted the prestigious Green Flag on behalf of everyone. The award was presented by An Taisce in recognition of the school’s ongoing efforts and commitment to sustainability and global citizenship.
Receiving a sixth Green Flag is a wonderful achievement and a testament to the passion and teamwork shown across our school. We look forward to continuing our journey towards making a lasting difference for our environment and our wider global community.
