We were delighted to be joined today by lots of fabulous grandparents and parents who helped us celebrate this special day by partaking in various activities. To begin with, we had a lovely prayer service in which we gave thanks for the wonderful gift that grandparents and parents are. Grandparents and parents were then presented with beautiful pictures and thoughtful poems and lots of hugs were exchanged. Later the pupils were delighted to have time with their parents and grandparents playing games, making St. Brigid's crosses and enjoying a cup of tea and cake. The cake and buns were especially baked and decorated by the pupils for this wonderful celebration and tasted fabulous. Thank you to all parents and grandparents who took the time out to visit our school and celebrate with their children and grandchildren. See you all again next year!
