We were delighted to welcome our local firefighters, Paul Masterson and Johnny Brogan, to the classroom on Wednesday 20th May 2026. Their visit provided pupils with valuable and practical knowledge about fire safety in the home and highlighted the importance of having a clear and well-practised fire escape plan.
Through engaging discussion and advice, pupils learned about simple but essential fire prevention measures, including safe daily habits and nightly routines that can help reduce risks in the home. They also explored what actions to take in the event of a fire, helping to build confidence and awareness around staying safe and protecting both themselves and their families.
We sincerely thank Paul and Johnny for taking the time to share their expertise and for delivering such an informative and worthwhile session.
