As part of our playground activities, children participate in the daily mile. The distance around the playground has been measured at 0.15km which means the children need to run around at least 7 times to fulfil the requirement of one km. Every term we calculate the total distance all children have completed and using google maps we have travelled to many cities and attractions around Ireland.
