The senior pupils have participated in Modules 1&2 of the Primary School Enterprise Development Programme, facilitated by Fionnuala Rodgers and supported by the Local Enterprise Office, Monaghan. The programme aims to give pupils an insight into how business works in the real world! To date, Fionnuala has very enthusiastically guided our pupils through an initial understanding of the process involved in setting up and running a small business. Ultimately, each school's business is presented for judgement with the business ideas of other local primary schools at a County Final. To date, we've come up with a 'creative' business idea and, through class discussion, we're happy with our business name! Now we have to consider a logo design and work on market research!
